IB Score: 41/45

Mildred is a committed and reliable tutor at AE, specialising in IB English: Language & Literature (SL) and Theory of Knowledge (TOK). She has a strong academic foundation in the IB and focuses on helping students understand key concepts clearly and perform confidently in exams and coursework.

She graduated from St. Joseph’s Institution with an IB score of 41/45, including a perfect 20/20 in TOK (Grade A) and an A in her English Langlit Extended Essay (27/32). She also scored 18/20 in SL Langlit Paper 2, showing strong skills in textual analysis, argumentation, and academic writing.

Before that, she graduated from Crescent Girls’ School with an O Level score of 8 points, particularly excelling in the humanities, including English and Literature. She is now studying Politics, Law, and Economics at Singapore Management University (SMU), where she regularly publishes macroeconomic reports as part of her coursework and research.

She also served as the Vice President of the Lasallian Youth Mentorship Programme from 2021 - 2022, where she tutored underprivileged primary school students. Through this role, she gained valuable experience working with different types of learners and adapted her teaching to their needs.
